Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a breakthrough procedure that is used all over the world to treat various medical conditions and injuries. Mesotherapy is minimally invasive and targets problem areas with microinjections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into the subcutaneous fat. The tiny injections are delivered directly into the middle layer of skin called the mesoderm in order to target the specific condition being treated. Mesotherapy is a procedure used for body sculpting to reduce, eliminate, and contour specific undesired fat pockets.
Here at Eden Med, a medical history and physical examination is required prior to receiving treatment for weight loss and body sculpting. Based on individual requirements, we will select a formula consisting of several medications best suited for your individual needs. After the formula is injected into the skin, it will slowly diffuse into the fat and begin rupturing the adipose fat cells.
How many treatments are recommended?
The number of weight loss and body sculpting treatments required is specific to each individual. We recommend a treatment of 3 sessions approximately 3 weeks apart in order to allow the body to heal. We will review your progress at each subsequent session and schedule additional treatments as needed. For 3 days prior to each treatment, we suggest that you take homeopathic Arnica tablets which will reduce any swelling and bruising.
Kybella
Kybella, the first FDA-approved, injectable drug used to reduce the appearance of submental fat, more commonly known as a double chin. This is a minimally invasive, non-surgical cosmetic procedure that helps to eliminated your double chin and achieve a tighter, more contoured look. A double chin appearance can impact a broad range of adults, and is not limited to people who are overweight. This condition can impact both men or women of average weight and can be caused by aging, genetics and weight gain. It is often resistant to diet and exercise alone. When injected into subcutaneous fat, KYBELLA™ causes the reduction of fat cells.
How many treatments are recommended?
Kybella contains an active ingredient called deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath your chin, Kybella causes the reduction of fat cells. We recommend a treatment of 3 sessions approximately 1 months apart. Most patients will notice aesthetic results after they've completed their 3 treatment sessions, although individual results will vary, and typically further treatment is not necessary.
